Indian Navy Welcomes Anamika Rajeev as Its First Female Helicopter Pilot

  • Sub Lieutenant Anamika B. Rajeev made history as the first woman in the Indian Navy to qualify as a helicopter pilot, achieving this milestone during the passing out parade at INS Rajali, Arakkonam.
  • Vice Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar awarded the "Golden Wings" to 21 officers, marking the successful completion of the 102nd Helicopter Conversion Course and Stage I training for the 4th Basic Helicopter Conversion Course.
  • Lieutenant Gurkirat Rajput received the FOC-in-C, Eastern Naval Command Rolling Trophy, Lieutenant Nitin Sharan Chaturvedi was awarded the Sub-Lieutenant Kunte Memorial Book Prize, and Lieutenant Deepak Gupta achieved first place in the Overall Order of Merit along with the Governor of Kerala Rolling Trophy.
