  • दो बड़े डाइविंग सपोर्ट वेसल (डीएसवी), जो पानी के भीतर अक्षम पनडुब्बियों के बचाव कार्यों में भी मदद करेंगे, को विशाखापत्तनम में स्थित हिंदुस्तान शिपयार्ड में "लॉन्च" किया गया है ।
  • 9,350 टन के विस्थापन के साथ दो डीएसवी (निस्तार और निपुण) में से पहला, जुलाई 2023 तक नौसेना को दिया जाने की संभावना है।
  • वे नौसेना के लिए स्वदेशी रूप से डिजाइन और निर्मित किए जाने वाले अपनी तरह के पहले जहाज हैं। 118.4 मीटर लंबे और 22.8 मीटर चौड़े जहाजों को गहरे समुद्र में गोता लगाने के लिए तैनात किया जाएगा।
