  • India won both the men's and women's kabaddi World Cup titles held in England, with the men's team defeating England 44-41 and the women's team winning 57-34. 
  • This tournament was held for the first time outside Asia in the West Midlands of England, featuring top kabaddi teams. 
  • India had previously won titles in both categories at the first kabaddi World Cup held in Malaysia in 2019.
