India defeated Bangladesh 4–0 in the final at Pokhara Rangasala Stadium to win the SAFF Under-19 Women’s Championship. Captain Julan Nongmaithem and teammates delivered a dominant performance to avenge an earlier group-stage loss. The win marked a strong comeback and showcased India’s tactical improvement. The squad, largely India’s U-17 team, used the tournament as preparation for the upcoming AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup.
