India- USA joint Military Exercise YUDH ABHYAS -2024 commences IN Rajasthan

  • The 20th edition of the India-US joint military exercise Yudh Abhyas-2024 began at the Foreign Training Node at Mahajan Field Firing Ranges in Rajasthan. 
  • The exercise is scheduled to be conducted from 9th to 22nd September 2024. Exercise YUDH ABHYAS has been held annually since 2004, alternating between India and the USA.
  • The primary aim of Exercise YUDH ABHYAS-2024 is to enhance the joint military capabilities of India and the USA in counter-terrorism operations, focusing on operations in a semi-desert environment under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter.
