भारत, दक्षिण अफ्रीका ने पनडुब्बी बचाव अभियान पर समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किये

  • भारत और दक्षिण अफ्रीका की नौसेनाओं ने बुधवार (4 सितंबर, 2024) को पनडुब्बी बचाव सहायता सहयोग बढ़ाने के लिए एक कार्यान्वयन समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए, जो “संकट या दुर्घटना के समय दक्षिण अफ्रीकी नौसेना के पनडुब्बी चालक दल की सुरक्षा” सुनिश्चित करता है।
  • इस समझौते के तहत, भारतीय नौसेना आवश्यकता पड़ने पर अपने डीप सबमर्जेंस रेस्क्यू व्हीकल (DSRV) को तैनात करके सहायता प्रदान करेगी, जिससे दोनों नौसेनाओं के बीच सहयोगात्मक संबंध और मजबूत होंगे।" 
  • इस समझौते पर भारतीय नौसेना प्रमुख एडमिरल दिनेश के. त्रिपाठी और दक्षिण अफ्रीकी नौसेना के प्रमुख वाइस एडमिरल मोंडे लोबेस ने हस्ताक्षर किए।
