  • The Central Zoo Authority (CZA) has approved India’s first white tiger breeding centre in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, to be established in Govindgarh near Mukundpur’s white tiger safari.
  • This initiative is part of a revised master plan for Mukundpur’s white tiger safari and zoo, named after Maharaja Martand Singh Judeo, who discovered a white tiger in 1951 and initiated its breeding program.
