  • The long-awaited India Maritime Heritage Conference 2024 (IMHC 2024), organized by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways (MoPSW), began at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi, with a special session addressed by Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, who emphasized the importance of preserving India's maritime heritage for future generations.
  • The conference was attended by key ministers, key speakers, maritime experts and thought leaders from across the globe and highlighted India's rich maritime heritage, its critical role in shaping cultural and economic exchanges across the world, and its vision for sustainable maritime innovation, emphasizing its emergence as a maritime powerhouse.
