India recently inaugurated the 3rd Session of the Council of the International Organization for Marine Aids to Navigation (IALA) in Mumbai, highlighting its growing role in global maritime governance. The virtual event, led by Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, brought together 42 Council members from over 30 countries. India also launched a digital ticketing portal for lighthouse tourism across 75 solar-powered sites.
