India–France Advance €300 Million SCALP Missile Deal After Combat Success

  • India and France are in advanced talks for a €300 million defence deal to procure SCALP cruise missiles after their successful use in Operation Sindoor. The missiles, launched from Rafale jets, carried out precise strikes on terrorist infrastructure and later targeted Pakistan Air Force bases, proving their deep-strike capability.
  • Their performance has strengthened India’s confidence in the Rafale weapons package and deepened Indo-French defence cooperation. The IAF is also planning further acquisitions of Meteor missiles to boost air dominance.
