2023 में नोएडा के बौद्ध सर्किट में आयोजित होगा भारत का पहला मोटोजीपी

  • भारत 2023 में ग्रेटर नोएडा में बुद्ध इंटरनेशनल सर्किट में अपनी पहली मोटोजीपी वर्ल्ड चैंपियनशिप रेस की मेजबानी करने की घोषणा की है।
  • MotoGP के वाणिज्यिक अधिकार के मालिक दोर्ना और नोएडा स्थित रेस प्रमोटर्स फेयरस्ट्रीट स्पोर्ट्स ने अगले सात वर्षों के लिए भारत में प्रीमियर टू-व्हील रेसिंग इवेंट की मेजबानी के लिए एक समझौता ज्ञापन (MoU) पर हस्ताक्षर किए है।
  • इस आयोजन में 19 देशों के राइडर्स भाग लेंगे, जो रोजगार पैदा करने के अलावा देश में व्यापार और पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देगा।
  • MotoGP की भारतीय रेसिंग परिदृश्य में MotoE को भी पेश करने की योजना है, जो न केवल एशिया में पहली बार होगा बल्कि शुद्ध शून्य कार्बन उत्सर्जन के साथ एक महत्वपूर्ण हरित पहल होगी।
  • वित्तीय, कर और नौकरशाही बाधाओं के कारण बंद होने से पहले, बौद्ध इंटरनेशनल सर्किट एक बार फॉर्मूला 1 इंडियन ग्रां. प्री. का हब था, जो 2011 से 2013 तक लगातार तीन वर्षों तक आयोजित किया गया था।
