India bags 25 out of 28 golds at 15th Asian Airgun Championships in South Korea

  • In Shooting, a dominant India ended their campaign at 15th Asian Airgun Championships in South Korea with a rich haul of 25 gold medals.
  • Manu Bhaker and Samrat Rana won the 10m air pistol mixed team junior event, while Rhythm Sangwan and Vijayveer Sidhu won the gold in the senior event.
  • ndia dominated the event winning 25 out of 28 events in eight days.
  • Sangwan and Sidhu defeated Valery Rakhimzhan and Irina Yunusmetova of Kazakhstan 17-3 in the final of the air pistol mixed team event.
  • He topped the qualification round with a score of 579 while Kazakhstan was second with a score of 577.
