At the Asian U-19 Boxing Championship, India’s Nisha (54kg), Muskan (57kg), and Rahul Kundu (men’s category) clinched gold medals, leading India’s medal tally to 14 — including seven silver and four bronze. Out of the 10 Indian women participants, nine returned home with medals. Nisha defeated China’s Sirui Yang 4:1, while Muskan edged Kazakhstan’s Ayazhan Ermek 3:2 in a split verdict. In other finals, Aarti Kumari (75kg) lost to China’s Tongtong Gu, and Kritika Wasan (80kg) narrowly missed victory with a 2:3 loss to Kazakhstan’s Kuralay Yeginbaikyzy.
