I&B Minister Anurag Thakur inaugurates "High Power Transmitter" at one of the world's highest radio stations in Kargil

·        Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur inaugurated high energy transmitters at one of the highest radio stations on the planet at Hambtingla in Kargil Ladakh.

·        The Minister inaugurated All India Radio FM radio station and two 10kW high power transmitters of Doordarshan at an altitude of 13,300 feet at Hambtingla in Batalik, Kargil.

·        Anurag Thakur informed that thirty thousand models of DD Free Dish with 130 channels will be distributed completely free of cost to the people of border villages.
