  • पूर्व भारतीय हॉकी खिलाड़ी और द्रोणाचार्य पुरस्कार विजेता हरेंद्र सिंह को हॉकी इंडिया द्वारा वरिष्ठ राष्ट्रीय महिला हॉकी टीम के कोच के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है।
  • हरेंद्र सिंह की नियुक्ति पूर्व डच हॉकी खिलाड़ी जनेके शोपमैन के इस्तीफे के बाद हुई है, जिन्होंने पेरिस ओलंपिक 2024 के लिए क्वालीफाई करने में भारत की विफलता के बाद राष्ट्रीय महिला टीम के कोच के रूप में पद छोड़ दिया था।
  • आदर्श आचार संहिता लागू होने के कारण हॉकी इंडिया की ओर से औपचारिक घोषणा नहीं होने के बावजूद राष्ट्रीय महिला हॉकी टीम के कोच के रूप में हरेंद्र सिंह का कार्यकाल 2028 लॉस एंजिलिस ओलंपिक तक बढ़ने की उम्मीद है।
