Government Approves Nutrient-Based Subsidy Rates for Rabi 2025–26

The Government of India has approved Nutrient-Based Subsidy (NBS) rates for the Rabi 2025–26 season, effective from 1 October 2025 to 31 March 2026, ensuring affordable fertilizers for farmers. The scheme covers Phosphatic and Potassic fertilizers, including DAP and multiple NPKS grades, with new inclusion of Ammonium Sulphate. Subsidy rates are: Nitrogen ₹43.02/kg, Phosphorus ₹47.96/kg, Potassium ₹2.38/kg, and Sulphur ₹2.87/kg. DAP subsidy rises to ₹29,805/MT, reflecting the government’s support for balanced nutrient use and soil health.
