  • वह 88 साल के थे और उन्हें दिल से जुड़ी बीमारियां थीं।
  • रजत कुमार कर, जिन्हें साहित्य और शिक्षा के लिए 2021 में पद्म श्री से सम्मानित किया गया था, उन्हें हृदय संबंधी बीमारियां थीं और वे दवा के अधीन थे।
  • उन्होंने पाल की ओडिशा की मरणासन्न कला के पुनरुद्धार में भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई थी।
