Cricket to feature six teams in 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, Games to have 28 more medal events

  • Cricket will be played in the T20 format at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, with six teams each in the men's and women's categories.
  • Each team can include 15 players, as a total of 90 athlete quotas have been allocated per gender.
  • Cricket is one of the five new sports approved for inclusion in LA28, alongside baseball/softball, flag football, lacrosse (sixes), and squash.
