CM Vijayan to inaugurate 29th Film Festival on 13 December 2024

  • Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the 29th Kerala International Film Festival (IFFK) on 13th December 2024 at Nishagandhi Auditorium, Thiruvananthapuram. 
  • Hong Kong-based director Ann Hui will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the festival, while the opening ceremony will be followed by the screening of the film "I Am Still Here", which won the best screenplay award at the Venice International Film Festival. 
  • Hong Kong Director An Hui will receive a prize money of Rs 1 lakh and a citation for lifetime achievement.
