  • कतर की राज्य ऊर्जा कंपनी ने चीन के साथ 27 साल के प्राकृतिक गैस आपूर्ति समझौते की घोषणा करते हुए कहा कि यह उद्योग में अब तक का सबसे लंबा समझौता है।
  • कतर एनर्जी अपनी नई नॉर्थ फील्ड ईस्ट परियोजना से सालाना चार मिलियन टन तरलीकृत प्राकृतिक गैस चाइना पेट्रोलियम एंड केमिकल कॉरपोरेशन (सिनोपेक) को भेजेगी।
  • चीन, जापान और दक्षिण कोरिया के नेतृत्व वाले एशियाई देश कतर की गैस के मुख्य बाजार हैं।
  • नॉर्थ फील्ड 2027 तक कतर के अपने तरलीकृत प्राकृतिक गैस उत्पादन के 60 प्रतिशत से अधिक 126 मिलियन टन प्रति वर्ष के विस्तार के केंद्र में है।
  • नॉर्थ फील्ड ईस्ट के लिए डील करने वाला चीन पहला देश है।
