  • The Indian government launched 'Entity Locker,' a secure, cloud-based platform developed by NeGD under MeitY, to streamline business and organizational document management.
  • It provides 10 GB of encrypted storage, real-time access to government databases, Aadhaar-authenticated role-based access, and legally valid digital signatures.
  • As part of India’s Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), Entity Locker connects seamlessly with systems like MCA, GSTN, and DGFT, aiding in vendor verification, MSME loan approvals, compliance processes, and corporate filings.
