  • The central government has appointed 8 IPS officers from the Uttarakhand cadre to key positions for 2024-25, including Neeru Garg as the Director General of the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D).
  • Among the appointees, Barinder Jeet Singh has been deputed to Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Senthil Avudai Krishna Raj S to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), and P Renuka Devi to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
