बीएसएफ की पहली महिला ऊंट दस्ते को भारत-पाक सीमा पर तैनात किया जाएगा

  • 1 दिसंबर को बीएसएफ स्थापना दिवस परेड में पहली बार महिला ऊंट सवारी दस्ते ने भाग लिया है। यह दस्ता दुनिया में अपनी तरह का पहला दस्ता है।
  • सीमा सुरक्षा बल (बीएसएफ) जल्द ही राजस्थान और गुजरात में भारत-पाकिस्तान सीमा पर ऊंट की सवारी करने वाली अपनी पहली महिला दस्ते को तैनात करेगा।
  • ऊंट दल और ऊंट घुड़सवार बैंड रखने वाला बीएसएफ देश का एकमात्र बल है।
  • बीएसएफ, जिसे पारंपरिक रूप से 'रक्षा की पहली पंक्ति' के रूप में जाना जाता है, ऊंट दल का उपयोग थार रेगिस्तान के विशाल विस्तार में निगरानी रखने के लिए करता है।
  • यह भारत में 7 केंद्रीय सशस्त्र पुलिस बलों (सीएपीएफ) में से एक है। यह 1 दिसंबर 1965 को स्थापित किया गया था।
  • यह एकमात्र सीएपीएफ है जिसके पास एयर विंग, वाटर विंग और आर्टिलरी विंग है।
  • यह केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय के अंतर्गत आता है।
