Bengaluru is set to host India’s first and largest AI-powered city at Bidadi, called the Greater Bengaluru Integrated Township (GBIT). The ₹20,000 crore project will cover 9,000 acres and aims to create a smart, sustainable, and technology-driven urban hub. Of this, 2,000 acres will be dedicated to AI industries, making it a major innovation and IT hub. The township will follow a work-live-play model, combining housing, offices, parks, sports facilities, and entertainment zones. It is designed as Bengaluru’s second central business district, reducing congestion in the main city.
