Seventeen-year-old Indian squash sensation Anahat Singh ended a 15-year medal drought for India at the World Junior Squash Championships by clinching the bronze medal in Cairo, Egypt. Seeded second in the tournament, Anahat lost in the semifinals to Egypt’s Nadien Elhammamy in straight sets. She recently won the Asian U-19 title and is ranked 54th globally in the women’s circuit.
