The audiobook of "Jungle Naama" by Amitav Ghosh, the first English language writer to be awarded the Jnanpith Award, will now be released.

·       A poem adaptation of an episode of Bon Bibi Ki Katha and a story popular in the villages of the Sundarbans, "Jungle Naama", composed by Amitav Ghosh, has now been released as an audiobook with music and voice by US-based Ali Sethi.

·       Amitav Ghosh is the first English language writer to be awarded the Jnanpith Award.

·       Ghosh collaborated with artist Salman Toor to retell the legend of Bon Bibi, Shah Jongoli and Dokhin Rai, which also appears in his novel The Hungry Tide (2004).
