Amitabh Chaudhry Re-Appointed As MD, CEO of Axis Bank

  • The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved Mr Amitabh Chaudhry's reappointment as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Axis Bank for a three-year term.
  • Before joining Axis Bank, Mr Chaudhry was the MD and CEO of HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company.
  • Chaudhry's new term will begin on January 1, 2022, and will end on December 31, 2024.
