  • American actor Corey Parker, known for his memorable television and film appearances, passed away at the age of 60 after battling stage-4 metastatic cancer. His death was confirmed by family members, who revealed he died on 5 March 2026 in Memphis, Tennessee. Parker remained widely respected in the entertainment industry not only for his performances but also for his dedication to mentoring aspiring actors throughout his career.
  • Born on 8 July 1965 in New York City into a family connected to the performing arts, Parker trained at the High School of Performing Arts in New York. He gained recognition with roles in films such as Biloxi Blues and Friday the 13th Part VII. His most widely remembered television role came in the sitcom Will & Grace, where he portrayed Josh, the bohemian boyfriend of Grace Adler, across multiple episodes in the show's second and third seasons.
  • Parker's illness came to light after hip replacement surgery in 2025 revealed advanced adenocarcinoma, which had spread extensively to his bones. Despite radiation therapy, his condition deteriorated and he publicly acknowledged the terminal nature of his illness in early 2026. Beyond acting, Parker earned admiration as a teacher and mentor.
