In time to time, The Indian Army releases vacany for General duty (GD) soldiers. GD section includes the Rifleman, the land defence force, fighting troops, drivers, etc. In order to join the Indian Army you must have the required educational qualifiaction and Physical qualities.
Recruitment Process: Recruitment process will be conducted in two phases. Phase I will be Online Common Entrance Exam at Computer Based Test Centres spread pan India and Phase 2 will be Recruitment Rally by AROs at Rally Venue.
Agniveer(General Duty):
Qualification: Class 10th /Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading system, min of ‘D’ grade (33% - 40%) in individual subjects or grades with 33% in indl subjects and overall aggregate of ‘C2’ grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate.
Age: 17½- 22 Yrs
Note: Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License will be given preference for Driver requirements.
