The Agniveer Army Technical role involves handling and maintenance of various technical equipment and systems.

The Agniveer scheme is a recruitment program for individuals to serve in the Indian Armed Forces. These soldiers ensure that the Army’s high-tech machinery remains operational. Servicing sophisticated weapon systems, radars, and communication equipment and Assisting in ground handling for Army helicopters or managing ammunition safety and inspection.

To qualify for the Indian Army Agniveer recruitment process, candidates are required to clear three stages: the Written Examination, Physical Fitness Test, and Medical Examination. For success in the first phase, which is the Written Exam, candidates must have a comprehensive understanding of the Indian Army Agniveer Syllabus 2026.

The written examination for Indian Army recruitment includes subjects such as General Knowledge, Reasoning, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

Eligibility:

Age Limit: 

17.5 to 23 Years

Educational Qualification:

10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.   

OR

10+2 / Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Maths and Chemistry OR Physics, Maths and Computer Science OR Physics, Maths and Electronics OR Physics, Maths and Information Technology OR Physics, Maths and Biology with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject.   

OR

10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Maths and English from any recognized State/Central education board.   

OR

ITI pass of minimum one year duration with NSQF grade 5 or above in any trade.

OR

Diploma in Engineering (3 years) from any recognized Polytechnic Institute.
