The Agniveer scheme is a recruitment program for individuals to serve in the Indian Armed Forces. Tradesmen provide the essential support services that keep a unit self-sufficient Like; Preparing meals for large numbers of troops and managing kitchen hygiene, Managing dining facilities and provisions, Maintaining uniforms and laundry services, Professional grooming and maintaining hair-cutting standards, Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of barracks and mess halls.
To qualify for the Indian Army Agniveer recruitment process, candidates are required to clear three stages: the Written Examination, Physical Fitness Test, and Medical Examination. For success in the first phase, which is the Written Exam, candidates must have a comprehensive understanding of the Indian Army Agniveer Syllabus 2026.

Selection Process:
Online Common Entrance Examination (CEE):

Medical Examination:
A thorough medical examination to ensure fitness for military service.
Service Duration:
Agniveers serve for a period of four years.
Upon completion, a percentage of Agniveers may be enrolled as regular cadre soldiers.

Educational Qualification:
Agniveer Tradesman (10th Pass): 10th pass with 33% in each subject.
Agniveer Tradesman (8th Pass): 8th pass with 33% in each subject.
Age Limit:
Generally, the age limit is 17.5 to 22 years. It is very important to check the official notification as these can change.
Physical Standards:
Height, weight, and chest measurements must meet the specified standards.
