This role is the administrative engine of the unit, usually based at the unit headquarters.
Managing official correspondence, drafting reports, and maintaining personal records of soldiers (pay, leave, service history).
For Clerks high proficiency in computers is required for maintaining digital databases.
To qualify for the Indian Army Agniveer recruitment process, candidates are required to clear three stages: the Written Examination, Physical Fitness Test, and Medical Examination. For success in the first phase, which is the Written Exam, candidates must have a comprehensive understanding of the Indian Army Agniveer Syllabus 2026.
The exam is computer-based and for Office Assistant (Clerk). The Candidates for Office Assistant (Clerk) must pass an Online English Typing Test during the CEE. Speed Required: 30 Words Per Minute (WPM). Duration: 10 Minutes.

Age Limit:
