Zealandia could become the world's eighth continent.
Recently, a better map of this new continent has been created by scientists.
This continent is located under the Pacific Ocean.
If it gets the status of a continent, it will become the first continent which will be completely located in water.
This continent is spread over an area of approximately 5 million square kilometers.
Zealandia extends from New Zealand south to New Caledonia and the Kane Plateau in the east of Australia in the west.
