The world's first high-altitude Para Sports Centre will be set up in Leh, Ladakh, which will help para-athletes prepare for international events, especially the 2028 Paralympics.
The centre will provide the benefit of a high-altitude training environment not only to India but also to global para-athletes, giving them a competitive edge and an opportunity for Indian sportspersons to train alongside world champions.
