World Toilet Day is celebrated every year on 19 November in the world.
This day is celebrated to keep people healthy and raise awareness about the importance of sustainable cleanliness.
This day was celebrated for the first time in the year 2013.
Sustainable Development Goal number 6 aims at clean water and sanitation.
At least 892 million people worldwide continue to defecate in the open.
Due to this, diarrhea related diseases often spread.
The theme of this day of the year 2023 has been kept as 'Accelerated Change'.
