The World Day for Audiovisual Heritage (WDAVH) 2025, celebrated globally on October 27, marks its 20th anniversary. Organized by UNESCO and the Coordinating Council of Audiovisual Archives Association (CCAAA), the day highlights the need to preserve films, recordings, broadcasts, and oral histories that reflect humanity’s cultural and linguistic diversity.
