According to the recent announcement, the World Congress on Disaster Management will be organized in Uttarakhand.
This will be the sixth World Congress on Disaster Management.
It will be organized in Dehradun, Uttarakhand from November 28 to December 1, 2023.
It will be jointly organized by Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority and Uttarakhand State Science and Technology Council.
Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has been appointed as the brand ambassador for this conference.
This meeting will bring together researchers, policy makers and practitioners from around the world to discuss many challenging issues related to disaster risk management.
The first World Congress on Disaster Management was held in Hyderabad.
