Russian President Vladimir Putin has reappointed Mikhail Mishustin as the Prime Minister of Russia. This decision is pending approval by the lower house of parliament, the State Duma.
Mishustin's reappointment follows the legal procedure initiated after Putin's inauguration for his fifth presidential term. As per Russian law, Mishustin submitted his Cabinet's resignation following Putin's inauguration ceremony.
Mikhail Mishustin, aged 58, has served as the Prime Minister for the past four years. He previously held the position of the head of Russia's tax service.
