  • According to the Celebrity Brand Valuation Report 2023 by Kroll, cricketer Virat Kohli has reclaimed the top spot as India’s most valued celebrity brand with a brand value of $227.9 million, a 30% increase from 2022.
  • Kohli surpassed Bollywood star Ranveer Singh, who is in second place with a brand value of $203.1 million. Kohli had previously overtaken Shah Rukh Khan in 2017 and has seen his brand value increase by 58% since then.
  • The overall brand value of the top 25 celebrities in 2023 is estimated at $1.9 billion, showing a 15.5% increase from the previous year. Factors contributing to this growth include successful on-field performances, social media presence, and endorsement deals.
