Every year on December 16, India celebrates Vijay Diwas (also known as Victory Day). In 2021, the country is commemorating the 50th anniversary of Vijay Diwas.
Vijay Diwas commemorates the service, valour, and sacrifices of the gallant men of the Indian Armed Forces in their victory over Pakistan in the 1971 war.
On this day, we remember all of the soldiers who defended the country during the war.
