Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar inaugurated the ‘Prerna Sthal’ on the Parliament House premises, where 15 statues of prominent freedom fighters and historical icons, including Mahatma Gandhi and B.R. Ambedkar, have been relocated to a single site.
The event was attended by key government officials, including Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Deputy Chairperson of the Rajya Sabha Harivansh, and several ministers such as Kiren Rijiju, L. Murugan, Arjun Ram Meghwal, and Ashwini Vaishnaw.
No Members of Parliament from any Opposition party attended the inauguration, indicating a clear boycott amid ongoing protests.
