Vice-Admiral Sanjay Vatsayan officially took over as the Vice Chief of the Naval Staff (VCNS) on Friday. Marking the occasion, he paid tribute to fallen Indian Navy personnel by laying a wreath at the National War Memorial in New Delhi. A gunnery and missile systems specialist, Vice-Admiral Vatsayan brings over 30 years of service experience. His distinguished career includes command and operational roles on frontline warships like INS Mysore (guided missile destroyer) and INS Nishank, reflecting his deep operational knowledge and leadership within the Indian Navy.
