Vice Admiral Sanjay Bhalla takes charge as Chief of Personnel of the Indian Navy

Vice Admiral Sanjay Bhalla assumed the role of Chief of Personnel of the Indian Navy on May 10, 2024, bringing with him 35 years of experience in various capacities within the Navy.
Notable among his leadership roles is his tenure as the Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet (FOCEF), during which he oversaw significant events such as the Presidential Fleet Review and the sea phase of MILAN-22.
Throughout his career, Vice Admiral Bhalla has held key staff positions at Naval Headquarters, contributing extensively to officer training at the Naval Academy.
He has also represented the Indian Navy in diplomatic capacities abroad and served as Chief of Staff of the Western Naval Command, showcasing his versatility and leadership acumen.
With a specialization in communications and electronic warfare, Vice Admiral Bhalla has commanded several renowned ships including INS Nishank, INS Taragiri, and INS Beas, highlighting his expertise in naval operations.
