Senior Congress leader Mohsina Kidwai passed away on April 8, 2026, in Noida at the age of 94.
She breathed her last at Metro Hospital due to age-related health issues.
She had a political career spanning over six decades.
She served as Union Minister in key portfolios including Labour, Health, Rural Development, and Urban Development.
She was elected to four different legislative bodies – UP Legislative Council, Assembly, Lok Sabha, and Rajya Sabha.
Congress leaders including Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi paid rich tributes to her dedication.
In 2022, she authored her memoir ‘My Life in Indian Politics’.
