Renowned actor Achyut Potdar, celebrated for his role as a professor in Aamir Khan’s film 3 Idiots, passed away on Monday in Thane, Mumbai at the age of 91. He was admitted to Jupiter Hospital after facing health complications but could not recover. Over his extensive career, Potdar acted in more than 125 Hindi and Marathi films and nearly 100 television serials, leaving behind a rich legacy in Indian cinema and television. Tributes poured in, including heartfelt words from filmmaker Hansal Mehta, who called himself a “permanent fan.”
