  • The National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras of Venezuela holds the Guinness World Record for the largest orchestra in the world.
  • This network of orchestras is known as 'El Sistema', and around 12,000 musicians gathered for the concert.
  • Previously, the record was held by a Russian orchestra of 8,097 musicians who performed the country's national anthem in St. Petersburg, Russia.
