  • The board of directors of Equitas Small Finance Bank Limited has approved the proposal for Vasudevan Pathangi Narasimhan (PN) to be re-appointed as MD and CEO for a 3-year term beginning July 23, 2022, and ending July 22, 2025, subject to RBI and shareholder approval.
  • Vasudevan is currently serving as the MD and CEO of the bank.
  • He was appointed as the MD of erstwhile Equitas Finance Limited, now a bank, with effect from July 23, 2016. He was previously the CEO of Equitas Holdings Limited.
  • Vasudevan worked at Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Limited, a subsidiary of the Murugappa Group, for nearly two decades, starting as a management trainee and eventually rising to vice president and head of vehicle finance.
