  • The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to declare Sukar area Soron located in Kasganj district as a pilgrimage site. 
  • The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, respecting the sentiments of the people, has decided to declare Soor in the Sukar area of Kasganj district as a pilgrimage site.
  • Sukar Kshetra Soron is the place of Nirvana of Lord Shri Barah, the third incarnation of Lord Vishnu and the Kund (Haripadi Ganga) under Soron Sukar Kshetra is the same place where Lord Barah ascended to heaven. 
  • The Soron Sukar area is considered as the pilgrimage center for salvation.
