US Open tennis, the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year, started in New York on 29 August 2022.
On day one Daniil Medvedev played with Stefan Kozlov in the first round.
Serena Williams is expected to play in her final tournament at the US Open.
She has been the Grand Slam winner for 23 times.
She won the first of her 23 major singles titles at the event in 1999.
