  • Union AYUSH Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Union Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda will launch a national level project of health check-up and management through Ayurvedic interventions in New Delhi on 21.02.2024. 
  • More than 20,000 tribal students will benefit from this project.
  • This initiative has been organized by the Ministry of AYUSH to enrich the health of tribal students with special focus on health problems like anemia, haemoglobinopathy, malnutrition and tuberculosis.
  • Under this project, efforts are being made to teach tribal students a healthy lifestyle based on the principles of Ayurveda in collaboration with CCRAS and ICMR-NIRTH, Jabalpur.
