Union AYUSH Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Union Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda will launch a national level project of health check-up and management through Ayurvedic interventions in New Delhi on 21.02.2024.
More than 20,000 tribal students will benefit from this project.
This initiative has been organized by the Ministry of AYUSH to enrich the health of tribal students with special focus on health problems like anemia, haemoglobinopathy, malnutrition and tuberculosis.
Under this project, efforts are being made to teach tribal students a healthy lifestyle based on the principles of Ayurveda in collaboration with CCRAS and ICMR-NIRTH, Jabalpur.
